Semiotica, the Journal of the International Association
for Semiotic Studies
, founded in 1969, appears in five volumes of four issues per year, in two languages (English and French), and occasionally in German. Marcel Danesi serves as Editor in Chief.

Semiotica features articles reporting results of research
in all branches of semiotic studies, in-depth reviews of selected current literature in this field, and occasional guest editorials and reports. From time to time, Special Issues, devoted to topics of particular interest, are assembled by Guest Editors.

The special issue of Semiotica where the article will appear, will be guest edited by Donald J. Cunninham,
a distinguished CASTL Fellow, and will focus on Peirce and Education.


CASTL is forming the 2008 Principal Network Cohorts

The Center for Advancing the Study of Teaching and Learning is accepting it's 2008 cohorts in both the Principal Network and the Principal Network Satellite Program. Interested candidates for future cohorts should submit their application packet as soon as possible. Admission requirements and a checklist for application materials is available at:
